It’s much easier to learn how to fit plasterboard than it is learning to plaster. You only need some basic DIY skills to complete the job yourself, avoiding the cost and hassle of hiring a professional.

1. To begin, you’ll need to attach the plasterboard to the wooden joists on your walls or ceilings.
2. Using screws, make sure to secure the plasterboard without overtightening it and damaging it.
3. To achieve a seamless finish, it’s advisable to fill the gaps between the plasterboard sheets and cover the screws using Gyproc joint filler (which you can order from the same place you buy plasterboard online, such as our shop).
