Types of Delivery

We use a range of methods to get your order to you, no matter how big or small. The type of vehicle we use will vary depending on volume of goods, location & vehicle availability. Your order will be delivered using one of the following types of delivery method:

27 Tonne Lorry

This is the most commonly used vehicle. Delivery arrangements are based on an industry-standard kerbside delivery. The vehicle will usually have a moffett or tailift to ensure safe movement of goods from bed of lorry to kerbside. Vehicles are unsuitable for restricted access and materials are likely to be palletised for ease/safety of movement.

27 Tonne Lorry

7.5 Tonne Lorry

This vehicle offers greater accessibility in more rural, built up or restricted access* areas. However, this will not include a moffett truck for offload. Materials are likely to be palletised.

*Please refer to Restricted Access information further down the page.

7.5 Tonne Lorry

Dedicated Courier

A dedicated ‘man in a van’ style courier delivery service, operating independently from our regular delivery schedule. Materials may not be palletised due to the size of the courier vehicle used, however some drivers will be able to help carry goods inside. Please note, this is at the driver’s discretion only as they are not insured to do so. As this is a dedicated service, we have greater control over time slots.

Dedicated Courier

Workplace Interior Shop Delivery Van From Office

If you are based locally to our HQ in Cheltenham (within a 20 mile radius), we can offer delivery to your door, providing the item required is in stock. Goods will be delivered in a 2.5 tonne flatbed vehicle for ease of offload. If the site doesn’t have access to a forklift or other offload facility, our Workplace Interior Shop delivery driver will carry goods inside your property.

Direct From The Manufacturer

This service is for more specialist items or goods stocked solely at the manufacturer’s factory. These are delivered on 3rd party courier arrangements and vehicles can vary from an artic lorry to a 7.5 tonne vehicle. These vehicles are unlikely to have a moffett truck for offload and are likely to be untimed deliveries.

Restricted Access

What is classed as restricted access?

Restricted access means our delivery drivers may face difficulties delivering your order. If your site falls within one or more of the following, please advise us ASAP and we look into making a more suitable delivery arrangement:

  • Narrow lanes
  • Residential areas
  • Time-restricted pedestrianised zones such as city centres
  • Double yellow lines
  • Red routes
  • Access barriers
  • Weight restricted bridges

Alternative Methods of Delivery

Split Deliveries

Your order may arrive via more than one delivery depending on stock availability, product lead in times, site access, and other varying factors. To minimise disruption, we will always try to coordinate deliveries so they arrive on the same day. Where this cannot be achieved we will let you know in advance.

Special Requirements

If you require any of the following, please advise us in advance so we can make the appropriate arrangements:

  • Two-man delivery service (e.g. if goods need to be carried upstairs, into awkward unusual locations etc.)
  • Security arrangements on site (e.g. vehicle description/reg, driver name, ID required)
  • Specific time slots (e.g. between 9am-12 noon)
  • Remote areas & offshore shipping (please contact us for a courier quote and lead times)
  • Removal of pallet/s from site before driver leaves
  • Contactless deliveries available in line with government guidelines

If you are unsure what type of delivery you require, or have any further questions about our delivery policies, please get in touch and we will be happy to advise you.
