Certain flooring systems offer enhanced fire protection. At Workplace Interior Shop, we supply Raised Access Flooring which, when combined with raised access floor fire barriers, provide fire protection. This cavity barrier and fire stop system is classified A1 to EN 13501-1 and consists of a unique non-combustible stone wool lamella core, which is faced on two sides with an impervious aluminium foil. This offers excellent resistance to the passage of smoke.
